We moved into the urban palace last weekend. By Monday we had finally collected our stuff from four different locations across the urban sprawl that is Naples. Gi had dutifully re-assembled the IKEA furniture, everything was unpacked, put away and in a reasonable state of cleanliness.
I will take photos and write a proper description shortly (always making promises, I know) but we hardly know ourselves it's so big, so comfortable, and so well furnished.
By the way, we are having a housewarming party this Saturday night (that's the 10th Feb), starting at the fashionable time of 9.30pm, in accordance with local custom. You are all invited. It's BYO alcohol (in accordance with our customs in Oz) and probably best to BYO chair too.
We are sharing with a teacher friend, Dana, so no doubt you'll be hearing a lot more about her in future blogs.
With plenty of room for guests I recommend that you book in now as April, June, August and December are already pretty much full.
Less than a week until we are in London, shopping for clothes for people more than 5 foot nothing, getting a haircut and eating as much fish and chips as possible.
