It doesn't happen very often but before we headed north there had been snow falling on the top of the Vesuvio. And to my disbelief Gigi's sister has never been up the volcano...so we drove up one day and here is some of what we found...
Do plan to return shortly and do the full trek up to the crater for the tour inside. Expect it looks rather different then.

Hey Jen, I have just read all of your blogs and absolutely love the one describing the permit to stay. I had forgotten how well you write and given that I could feel my blood pressure rising whilst I was reading it, goes to show how real you make it.
Everything good here - very very busy. We are having enrolment enquiries every day and hopefully most of them will turn into confirmed places. The building is at lock up stage and actually looks like something now. Will e-mail some photos soon. All the boys are great and both of them are getting more adorable in different ways. Big achievement this week is Josh is now out of nappies! woo hoo!
