The top picture clearly shows some sort of rudimentary "sieve" placed inside a toilet bowl in order to capture objects such as those shown - a damp cigar and a small glass brick. What do they put in the pizza there anyway?

The second picture is a door, with a rather quaint handle and bar device...

Do I get a gold star? Love Sarah x

PS: I know what they are so I wrote it in Napoletan to not spoil the game.

Well Fulvio, you have a loving heart (you are engaged and thinking about how "happily ever afer works out" according to Jen's blog), plus you have a sense of fairness too (you answered the riddle in napolotean), which says you must be a nice person, and a very good friend of Gigi and Jennys.. that wasn't much of a stretch though. I hope you aren't terribly bored for too much longer at work, and that you have a blissfully happy wedding :D

Dearest Jenny & Gi
Please assure me that these items are not part of the actual toilet in your beautiful home, that will need to accommodate my lilly white princess butt when I come to visit!
Love Krisi & Madii xoxoxo

What if, "lilly white princess butt", this is the toilet of the Naples Hilton we see pictured? And Jenny and Gi rely on a spade and a patch of dirt?

I know Jen too well - there is no way she would put up with a toilet that looks like that - it would be off to the nearest hotel for her... love Krisi (aka Lilly white princess butt).

Umm, the Italian idea of a security system, screens from the middle ages on the window, and a bar across the door, no better way to stop criminals.....
