Procida Island

We spent last Sunday at Procida Island. Gi had been invited to give some Qi Gong demonstrations as part of a cultural event. Unfortunately the 10.30am ferry we planned to catch has been cancelled...without notice. But arriving half an hour later for his first demonstration, we were met at the port by the organiser Paolo, a very mellow fellow who drove us up to the top of the island where he lives in a lovely apartment.

I had invited teacher friends Dana and Seb along for the day and we quickly escaped, spending the next few hours wandering around the quaint island, visiting the fishing village, marvelling at colours and charm of the local community and architecture. It's one of my favourite spots in the region of Campania and I'm advocating that we find some overnight accommodation and come over for a weekend visit, good food, some wine and fun company.

Hope you enjoy the photos.

Looks nice - will look it up in the atlas, like your previous log about the mugging, good story.
